What You’ll Do
As the Mechanical Engineering Manager – NPD, you will:
- Lead and Develop Teams: Manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing mentorship, training, and development while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Drive Product Development: Oversee the design and development of new products, ensuring all requirements, safety regulations, manufacturability, and serviceability standards are met.
- Technical Leadership: Serve as the lead engineer on new product development projects, delivering high-quality mechanical designs that align with customer and business needs.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements in engineering standards, documentation, and procedures to drive efficiency and product excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Manufacturing, and Service teams to ensure seamless product launches and compliance with company standards.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to industry regulations, engineering best practices, and Park Industries’ quality standards.
- Foster Innovation: Encourage a mindset of continuous improvement in both product design and team performance.
As a Mechanical Engineering Manager – NPD, you'll work standard business hours from Monday to Friday, with a hybrid work arrangement that combines remote work flexibility with onsite collaboration at our St. Cloud, MN office.
Experience and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required; a Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Experience: 15 years of design-related engineering experience, including 7+ years managing engineers in a product development environment. Experience in CNC or robotic equipment and a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (AutoCAD/Inventor preferred), mechanical analysis, FEA tools, and GD&T. Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic system design.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams while driving innovation and maintaining a high-performance culture.
- Attributes: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a results-driven mindset.

Pay Transparency Statement
In accordance with pay transparency regulations, the anticipated starting salary for this position ranges from $94,000 to $130,000 annually. Please note that the salary range provided is an estimate and not a guarantee; the final offer will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, location, and assigned shift. Full-time employees may also be eligible for variable compensation, company-wide incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package. Additionally, the availability of benefits and programs may vary depending on the hire date, employment type, and hours worked.
